The Morrison County One Vegetable One Community and the Purple Carrot Market are teaming up to bring you a Facebook Live presentation on how to preserve peppers to enjoy year around. Joelle Zylka, owner #126 of the Purple Carrot Market, will demonstrate how to preserve by canning candied and pickled peppers and well as show us how to freeze them. Joelle will talk us through pepper dehydration as well as another choice for preserving peppers. There will be time for you to ask questions in the chat throughout the presentation. If you can't make the Facebook Live, you will still be able to watch the recording.

Breakfast with the Co-op: December 7th Outdoor Holiday Winter Market: December 9th Wait, hold everything! You're telling me I can grow and eat fresh greens all year long without any special lights. How? To find out, join this hands-on class on September 21st from 5:00 - 6:30 pm conducted by Anthony Adams from the University of Minnesota Extension Office and sponsored by the Purple Carrot Market. He will take us though the history, science, potential and construction of hydroponics. Cost of the class is $35 for non-owners and $30 for owners which includes all the supplies you will need to grow a small-scale hydroponic garden. Sign up deadline is September 3rd so we have time to order the necessary supplies needed. The class will be held in the County Conference room in the Morrison County Government Center. Thursday, August 17th is our last Pop-Up Market of the summer; where did the time go. You can find the market on the north side of the Victor Mall in the parking spaces at 53 E Broadway in Little Falls from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.

If its your first time tabling, a short orientation with key points will be available to support you. We are also looking for a few people to help organize our Harvest Dinner and a Ponics workshop. There is already a lead person for both.
