The blueberries were preordered and sold out, but there is still room for more orders for the July 22nd delivery date. Click on the button to order for the July 22nd pickup date. For those of you that ordered blueberries, you will receive a separate email on Monday as a reminder to which date your blueberries will arrive.
While you are picking up your blueberries on the north side of the Victor Mall, stop by the other vendor tables for some local produce. July 15th Pop-Up Market Come see some of your favorite vendors at the next Pop-Up Market located behind the Victor Mall Building on July 15th from 3-5:30.
Bring your shopping bags and stock up from some of your favorite vendors. DCBL Organic Acres owners #399 is back from last year with quality meats, a variety of baked good, and chicken eggs. EJ Terra owner #275 will have pickles and preserves, salves and soaps, jams and jellies and don't forget the duck eggs. Darlene Brand owner #96 will be there with raspberries and garden fresh vegetables including cabbage, beets, broccoli and new potatoes. We couldn't have asked for nicer weather than what we had for the Annual Meeting. Two new board members were elected Bryan Hill and Ava Antilok and Lorelee Beto was reelected. Preorders from the Alaska Wild Fish Co. Flash Sale will be delivered to the Pop-Up to be picked up during this same time. There will be extras of the most popular items available to buy on the spot, but don't wait because then you're not guaranteed to get what you want. The Purple Carrot Market will also have a table set up with swag, including yard signs, and information for any potential owners who would like to join. The due date for putting in an order for the Alaska Wild Fish Co. Flash Sale is Wednesday, June 16th at noon. If a special order is placed (smoked fish) then the transaction will need to be completed by Friday, June 11th at noon to allow time for smoking the fish. Dam Festival Parade on June 19th at 11:00. We need volunteers to walk the parade holding signs, hand out information, and put temporary tattoos on kids. Join us at the Little Falls Convention & Visitors Bureau, located at 606 1st St. SE in Little Falls, for our Annual Meeting on June 22nd starting at 5:00 pm. Social time will be from 5:00-5:30pm with the meeting starting at 5:30.
What to Bring We are doing something different this year. We are asking each ownership to bring one or two unperishable food items to donated to the Morrison County Food Shelf. In exchange for the food items, you will receive a Lindy Scoop coupon for free ice cream (2 coupons per ownership); there are a total of 100 coupons to give out. Any coupons left over from the Annual Meeting will be donated to the food shelf as well. We ask that you bring your own lawn chairs; beverages will be provided by the Purple Carrot Market. Please feel free to bring along a potential owner as a guest. In case of rain, we will move the meeting to the Victor Mall, future home of the Purple Carrot Market. We are excited to continue the progress towards our locally owned grocery store in our community. As our ownership grows, we also increase what needs to get accomplished in the coming year or two as we moved towards stage 3 the "Build" stage. |
