This will be a great opportunity to bring an interested potential owner to "scope" things out. Enjoy a light breakfast, meet other co-op owners and talk with board members about the pieces being put into place for our Capital Campaign tentatively planned for fall 2024.

If you enjoy farm, fresh product grown locally, look no further. Cost of the tour is $10 per person which includes tender, organic greens for you to take home. A crucial part of making the Purple Carrot Market a successful cooperative is that we are controlled by our owners. No one owner holds more power than anyone else. Annually, our owners choose board member to represent them on the Board of Directors, and each owner can only cast one ballot per election. This is what is called democratic owner control.
The Purple Carrot Market is seeking nominations for owners who would like to run for a seat on Board of Directors. This year we have four open board seats. To run for the board, the individual must be an owner in "good standing"- current if on the payment plan option. Expectations for board members include:
