Just in time for the holidays, the Purple Carrot Market welcomes back the Alaska Wild Fish Company for a one day pop-up market on Friday, December 9. From 10 am - 6 pm, they will have their smoked and frozen fish for sale as well as their wild rice.

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and we are SO thankful for our 150 owners! But we have a goal: we want 200 owners by the time we ring in the New Year. That way we can begin looking for a place for the Purple Carrot to call home. To keep on track to make that goal, let's see if we can add 1 new owner each day until we give thanks with our families and friends - that will get us to 160 owners!
From 4:30 - 5:30 pm, Jeff Everson will demonstrate the recipe for Midwestern Hoover Soup, a recipe from the Great Depression that warmed families when times were lean.
