Just in time for the holidays the Purple Carrot Market invites our owners, to feast on fish, wild rice, honey, and maple syrup from Alaska Wild Fish Company. Not an owner yet? Join our co-op today and immediately enjoy the benefits of ownership by taking part in our "Owners Only Alaska Wild Fish Company Buying Club Blitz". The Buying Club allows you to feast on fish, wild rice, honey, and maple syrup from a local Central Minnesota business. The Pietron Family (a.k.a. Purple Carrot Owners #9) own Alaska Wild Fish, live in Central Minnesota, and have been fishing in Bristol Bay, Alaska for over 35 years.
Their salmon fillets are flash frozen then vacuum sealed to capture and preserve that “Fresh From The Water” flavor. In addition to their fresh frozen salmon, Pietrons have halibut, walleye, yellow perch in case quantities and at case prices. Concerned that you're not able to store and eat a case of fish? Buy a case with family, friends or neighbors and split it!
In the fall, the Pietrons selectively hand harvest wild rice from Minnesota lakes and rivers. Like a blend of brown and wild rice? Alaska Wild Fish offers a 50/50 blend U.S. grown brown rice and the locally harvested wild rice.
Visit the Purple Carrot's Online Store to buy your ownership share and take part in our Owner's Only Buying Club featuring the Alaska Wild Fish Company. But hurry because all orders must be in by 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 11.
