Wait, hold everything! You're telling me I can grow and eat fresh greens all year long without any special lights. How? To find out, join this hands-on class on September 21st from 5:00 - 6:30 pm conducted by Anthony Adams from the University of Minnesota Extension Office and sponsored by the Purple Carrot Market. He will take us though the history, science, potential and construction of hydroponics. Cost of the class is $35 for non-owners and $30 for owners which includes all the supplies you will need to grow a small-scale hydroponic garden. Sign up deadline is September 3rd so we have time to order the necessary supplies needed. The class will be held in the County Conference room in the Morrison County Government Center.
