Ditch the plastic wrap and bags and go with a natural way of covering your bowls and wrapping your food. The heat from your hands is all it takes to form the beeswax coverings. The Purple Carrot Market is sponsoring a hands-on class on how to make reusable beeswax food wraps led by Melissa Peterson (owner #144) and Pauline Hopkins (owner #388) with organic beeswax supplied by Green Prairie Apiary and Honey (vendor owner #591). A free will offering of $5 a person is suggested to help cover supply costs. We ask that you to bring your own iron. We will have a few extra irons on hand if you don't have one. You will be able to take home a variety of sizes: small (7" x 8"), medium (10" x 11"), large (13" x 14"), sandwich (13" x 13") or bread (17" x 23") sizes.
